Andrea Hunter
Attorney
Andrea Hunter received her B.A. in English and Communication Studies from Baylor University. She stayed actively involved in student life by serving as an executive officer for a student organizationand working as a recruiter in the athletics department. Andrea was honored to be on the Dean’s list and to serve as a faculty assistant.
Andrea graduated from Regent University School of Law in 2007 with a concentration on Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution. While at Regent Andrea was Vice-President and later President of the Black Law Students Association and a member of the Nationally-acclaimed Moot Court Board. She was named Best Oral Advocate in the 2005 Regent Cup, 3rd Place in the NBLSA Mid-Eastern Regional Moot Court Competition, and 2nd Best Oralist in the National NBLSA Moot Court Competition out of over 300 national competitors. Andrea was selected as a Pupil in the James Kent American Inn of Court, later receiving a Judge’s Award for Professionalism. One of Andrea’s fondest memories from law school was being selected for a specialty program entitled the “Art of Advocacy.” This program enabled her to argue a legal matter on a national radio program before a live audience and field calls from listeners around the country.
Andrea’s early legal experience includes serving as a judicial intern for the Chesapeake Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court, and as an intern for the Government Services Division of the Georgia Attorney General’s Office. Since becoming licensed she has served as a Fellow for Texas Wesleyan Law School, an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Dallas, and an Assistant District Attorney in the Dallas area.
Andrea practices in the Litigation Department of Walker Law Offices, P.A. in the areas of Personal Injury and Criminal Law. She is a proud Texan and resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
